Back seat conversion? fold down?

Ok I drive a 98 malibu...no LS. Im not sur ebut i thought in most malibu LS models the backseat to the trunk folds down? If thats the case does anyone know any kinda DIY conversion kit or any ideas on how to make my own fold down seat? Thanks

Check inside the trunk. If your seats fold down there will be two canvas loop straps hanging at the top of the trunk kinda by where the light is. If you are looking at the trunk they will be towards the left of the third brake light. Pull those to release the seats then reach in and push them down. There are no releases inside the car. I think it is a safety feature so kids can't accidentally pull a seat down and crawl into the trunk (where they belong ha ha) and get trapped. If the '98 doesn't have em I would assume it would be easier just to go to the junk yard and pull the seats out of one that does.
