how wide should i get it or should i just wait untill i get a turbo?

if your going to get a turbo, just sell your whole car ,and get a GST or GSX ,alot cheaper, but with an NT, the bigger the better....

You meant to say with a turbo car the bigger the better, and with a NT, going bigger gets more high rpm HP at the expense of some low/midrange power.

just get a used FWD Tubo exhaust and put a magnaflow or dynomax muffler on it

get a tsi they are way cheaper then the gsx's

yeah if i ever sell my gs for a turbo dsm, im most like going to look for a tsi awd. iv found its much cheaper to simply take that and do the 97-99 eclipse conversion on it...

as for the question at hand... id say for a n/t a 2.25 or 2.5 inch would serve your purpose fully. If your planning on putting a turbo on your n/t (say you dont want to sell it for a gsx/t/tsi) i think a 2.5 would work but you could always go with 3" or something if you want.

Yea, I was thinking of selling my stock 2G GS-T exhaust w/ 53K on it within the next few months, and it has a deep sounding muffler on it too. I was wondering if anyone would buy it or not, but I guess theres a market for it afterall :naughty: .

see its just not as easy as sell my car buy another im only 15...
my step dad payed for the car and im payin him back for it...so they wont let me sell it to get the one i wonted so i just gota do everything to this one and hell make it more fun neways :-D

The more you save, the closer you can get to a new car in the future. That's what I did. Do you really want to spend thousands on a car that will never be as fast as a stock GST/GSX/TSI? You aren't even 16 yet. You don't need to try and have the best car ever. Just be glad you have an Eclipse.

No seriously tho, it might sound corny as all hell, but still stay focused and school and such, because the payoff in the end is just amazing. Then you will have all the money you want to buy cars and mod them as you wish. Making your car fun is good tho, but just make sure you dont dump ALL your money into it :thumbsup: .
