if you're short on money i would recommend a 1g (90-94) gsx just as fast and much cheaper. a nice 1g turbo AWD can be had for under 3000

definitely look at Talon TSi's, they tend to run $1000 cheaper than comparable Eclipses but are the exact same car.

When i was around your age (i'm 22 now}.. i bought a 1996 Plymouth Neon sport (limited edition).. Now i heard all the shit about Neon's having problems.. Non Reliable.. all that bullshit.. It had 150,00 miles on it when i bought.. I drove it all the way up to 190,000 miles without one single problem...shit, I drove it from Virginia to Massachusetts and back 6 or 7 times... Its how your take car of the car.. A car is like a child.. if you take car of it, it will stay healthy as it ages... don't let people but bullshit into your head because they drove their car like assholes.. and never even bother'd to change their oil once

Well like they are saying the talon tsi will be alot cheaper, i payed $4,500 for my 95 tsi awd turbo, its the same damn car just different tail lights and you can change that real easy.

Talons are nice lookin without having to convert it to an eclipse. They are exactly the same except for the bumpers wheels and lights.

well im thinkin about gettin the talon tsi but not sure the eclipse looks better to me and i dont know soo. But do they both have the same defects, like engine troubles as one another cause i know the eclipse isn't to high and mighty in the reliablility department thanks, Chris

Well im in the same boat chris, cept i dont even got 1g scraped up yet :2cents: But IMO, i really dont care for the 90-94's... I mean when i get my car, i'm looking at the same deal, a 95-99 eclipse. And i plan on gettin it from autotrader.com. Check that out b/c 7g's for a 95-99 is pretty high.. Im seein eclipses on there for under 3000 so check that out. Plus you and me, we're looking more at looks right? :iceslolan because i find the 1g looks too oldish, no offense, i much rather prefer the look of the 95-99. Obviously there will be slight modifications, just to spice things up a bit :grinyes: but i've got my eyes seriously set on beutifying a 96-97 gs.

well the difference between me and you is, I want the GSX.. its the best of the make you can get you just want a gs. Those are more common slower and cheaper. 7000.00 for a AWD gsx isnt that much from what ive been seeing

Same here, im 16 too and also pressed for cash, i just got a job but im not going to get the money overnight. After being obsessed with trying to find a GSX for under 7000 I started looking at GS-Ts. Not as good launch but just as fast as GSX. Plus there are alot more GS-Ts out there for sale than GSXes they are also cheaper and come in a convertable too!. My friends convinced me that finding a GSX is too hard and GST-S are fuking sweet too. As far as AWD goes, I wanted it for winter driving but realisticly its not going to be a hummer in the snow, thats imposible its just too low.
