Heater core leak... needs replacing... guidance?

All,
My trusty 92 Ranger (~140k miles) is starting to show symptoms of age. Most recently is a leaking heater core (antifreeze smell/mist entering the cab during all modes of heating/defrosting, windows fogging up)... likely going to need to replace asap.
Would like to do the work myself.... any resources online that would provide instructions/tech tips for replacing heater core?
Anybody done this before? How extensive is the surgery?
Cheers,
Steve

This is pretty simple to do and doesnt take much time

The first thing u wanna do is let ur truck cool down if you've been driving it. After that turn the radiator cap to release the pressure.

While in the engine compartment, loosen the clamps on the heater hoses at the engine compartment side of the fire wall and seperate them from the heater core tubes. I'd also plug or cap um to keep radiator fluid from going all over my floor board, might wanna put some plastic down too...

Now go to the passenger side of the truck and remove the screws securing the heater core access cover to the plenum assembly.

Carefully pull the heater core rearward and down and remove it from the plenum assembly....Now all u gotta do is replace it with a new one.....Good Luck

Appreciate it Marbles... doesn't sound like a major production. Already reserved the core at AutoZone.... $16.99. Music to my ears.
Thanks a bunch...
