Tranny Swap

I am a dumb girl who bought a manual transmisson that I can't drive. :rolleyes:
It is a nice vehicle, but I just don't think I am going to get the hang of it.
I will probably have to try and sell it, and hope I don't lose out much, but in the mean time I was wondering: is it possible to convert this to an automatic, or would the cost be astronomical?

To switch the trans to auto, yes it's expensive. YOu have the cost of the new trans, a torque converter, possibly a bell housing, as well as the other parts that are different between the two. Then there's all the labor cost. You may be better off finding the vehicle you want.
