sony psp

This is a handheld question not a game question.

I was wondering what you guys think of it? Would any of you buy it, or do you think its a waste of money.

I'd buy it. I collect game systems and stuff but from the way it looks now it'll turn out to be a good handheld. I want to try GT and metal gear on it.

I'll get one if its not as buggy and glitchy as the early ps2s. It's saling in Japan for $186, it might drop to $150 before it comes state side.

im buying it for sure, the thought of me and my friend playing gran turismo on the way to school will be awsome, i cant wait for it, btw anyone know when its out?

hopefully, by christmas or a little after cuz i see games that come out around that time on gamestop and ebgames and it would be useless to have the games come out before the system

I heard the graphics are just as good as the ps2, is this true?

almost as good as the ps2, once you see it i guess alot of the judgement would be your own, i've heard its as good as psone, but then i saw it, and it looks almost as ood as ps2 to me

The official release date for us will be in the spring of 2005, it's the just the japanese who will get it before christmas. And yes I would certainly buy one over the nintendo ds. And besides, the PSP will handle the UMD format which will allow full length movies to be played on there. There was a demo of the spiderman 2 movie runinng on there and it's damn close to DVD quality too.

im still going to get the DS, but i like the psp a lot better, o and the movie thing on the ds i've heard you actually have to buy the movie in that same disc, so when you buy movies for the psp, it will only work on the psp, its like a special disc, same with music, but i have no idea just some kid at school told me.

You can pre order a japanese one and hopefully get it before christmas, the cool thing is that the PSP games are region free meaning you can buy one from japan and buy games when they are released in America and they will work together.
