Sold my 99 GT to the lady next door...one less car payment http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_209.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_VNxdm83546US)
Probably keepin' my '03 Mach1 stock (and garaged as much as possible, whenever I'm not drivin' it). Mom's MPV can stay outside http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_3v.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_VNxdm83546US)
Which leaves the old, reliable, automatic '87 5.0.
Since I'm keepin' the 'Blue Deuce', I've been thinkin' 'bout converting to a 5 bolt pattern so I can put on some diff wheels and tires. Don't have the time or the know-how though. How much should this type of conversion run....ball-park figure ??

As always, thanks in advance

www.50resto.com has a bunch of kits, check 'em out. one that retains the stock rear brakes goes for less than $700 if my memory is correct.

How you convert it to 5-lug will decide how much money. For teh back if your gonna keep drums you can use FMS axle and drum kit like $200 or you can buy ranger axles(2 lefts i think) and drums from a parts store or junkyard. OR you can add a whole mess more money and go 5-lug disc in the back.
The front is you can use Lincoln LSC rotors up front but then you have to be careful about wheel selection cause some won't work cause of the rotors large bearing snout. Also you could upgrade to SN-95 spindles and use the SN-95 larger brakes and rotors for improved suspension geometry, braking, and infinite wheel selection. You can use 96+ spindles if your rim is less 8" or less wide cause it moves the wheel 8MM farther out than stock.
All of em will cost different depending what you get and how you get it but this is the basic options you have. So I would decide what wheels you want first and figure out what front set-up will work for you. Then decide if you want disc in the back or not.
