gas mileage

I owned 93 camry se V6 (89000 mile) only two months. I found the gas mileage is very low, only 17.5MPG (local). Is this normal? I have checked tire pressure. Thanks a lot!

Yes, i average on my 93 v6 about 300 miles to a tank (+/- about 25 miles) so thats roughly the samey you got. Dont forget the 1993/1992 was a total redesign and also the engine isnt set up to be super fuel efficent.

I dont find it a problem that i only get 320 miles to a tank, my mom has a 01 tribute and it onlygets 250 miles to a 16 gallon tank.
