Sorry for anyone who has had to answer this question 8 times but the search just wasn't doing it.
I am about to pick up an OBD I B18C1 for my OBDII LS and I need to know how to switch the car to OBDI, unles someone has a compelling argument for switching the motor to OBD II instead.
Thanks,

So with the conversion harness the engine will work properly and allow the freedom to add aftermarket parts without the OBD II kicking in and learning its way around the modifications? Or for that would I need to get an OBD I Ecu for my car. Or something like a Hondata etc.

Oh sorry, yes you'd need to use the OBD1 ECU as well. And with that you wouldn't have the problems associated with aftermarket parts added to the motor.

what about passing inspection, i was wondering if your running an OBDI conversion on an OBDII car, will it pass inspection and what will they do to pass inspection? like do they dyno it or hook it up to OBDII computer, and is it legal?

i dont think its legal. its technically not legal to drop an older engine into a newer car and thats what hes doing, even if u convert the ecu i think.
