Which is fastest??

So we're headed off to Englishtown this Sunday. I have an 04 1500 Quad Cab with the HEMI. My brother has an 04 1500 Regular Cab with the 4.7L. Both trucks are 4wd. His is the ST and my HEMI is the SLT. Who would win the 1/4?? Anyone have a guess on what the times and mph would be for both trucks??

If you've got the same axle ratio and tire size, I'd bet on the HEMI. I think the Quad Cab is giving away about 3-400 pounds.

Otherwise, need more info about the above.

My HEMI has the OEM 20's which are 275/60R20 while the 4.7L has the 255/70R17 (I think). I know they are 17s though.

We're going out there this sunday. I think I worded it wrong in my first post. I'll definitely post up sunday night when we get home.

Both Rams have the 3.55 rear axle

So...did some math, you've got 33" tires and he's got a little over 31". Same rear end. He's giving away over 100 horsepower. Hmmm I'd say the Hemi will win.

What about a 1997 1500 with a 5.9L 2WD ext cab and 16 inch wheels? (assuming that I fixed my ignition problem)

LTJG, what rear end do you have? If it's the 3.92 you have a good chance of coming in between the hemi and the 4.7. :)

I'm not sure what my gears are in the back.

There's a sticker on the bottom of the hood that will say, if it's still there.
