Okay,
I have been working on my blower problem for about two months now and I can't seem to get anywhere. It is starting to get really cold here in Kansas and I would like to get it figured out. Any help would be great. I can't get any air unless I am moving. When I get up to speed, I can get some warm air blowing through the vents. I can select which vent I want to direct the air, but I can't seem to get the level of air to increase. I have replaced the switches and the blower motor, but it still does not work. I heard that the resistor might be the issue, but it usually only goes out on one setting if it is the problem? I don't know. I am willing to replace the resistor too if I knew where it was. Anyone know? Also I would like to hear any other ideas if anybody has them.
Thanks,
Sean

just because you replaced the switch it does not mean that it did not com with a factory defect. Try to plug the blower directly into the battery to see if it is working i had the same problem got a new switch and it came with a factory defect.

Take the whole control panel out of the dash, find where the wires for the selector come from behind the dash there should be a large brownish colored plug-in connector, unplug this and clean the contacts inside, this was the problem on my '92 cherokee.

Well i just replaced my blower motor a day ago, before i put it back in i tested it to see if it worked, but it only went on high. So i pulled the resistor and tested that, it was shot i couldnt get lo or medium to work. I bi-passed the resistor and found out in fact it was no good.

!!!!Lift up your hood. on the right side near the battery there is a plastic tube/hose running along the side of the fender check for any leaks from that hose espically near the battery box
