roll cage for 95 tsi?

ok im deciding to targa top my talon this summer and ive heard the only way to be safe is to no twist the frame is to put in a roll cage...could anybody give me some info on this and to give me advice on where to get a roll cage?

u probally want to build it yourself to fit together with the targa top, and if you are hitting 12's its a good idea to get a roll cage anyways...

yea im hitting mid 12's aand about fabricating my own? i failed in welding so i wouldnt really want to try that........ think a performance shop would do it?

There are chassis shops that were put on this earth for the sole purpose of building cages, and tube chassis cars. There are several around me. You'll have to figure that out on your own, I have no idea where you live, let alone what chassis shops are in the area ;) I would not recomend building your own cage unless you are a very good welder and have a copy of the NHRA/IHRA rules on hand. IF you want the cage to be functional anyway.

doesnt your car have a sunroof? if so you have to find another eclipse/talon without one so you can cut the top off that to use. cant targa top a roof with a sunroof. the sliders are too long.

anybody know any good shops in upstate ny that could do this for me?
