Comparo: ZO6('03) vs. Cobra('03)

Now that Ford stepped up...who's going to beat out who???

Chevrolet Corvette ZO6

V8 405HP ($45,000+)

Ford Cobra Mustang

V8 Supercharged 390HP ($30,000+)

On a stock vs. stock basis...which will prevail as American's new favorite V8 ? ? ?

Personally...the bang for the buck has to go to the Cobra but you cannot beat the ZO6's handling or braking out of the box. The ZO6 is a more complete package...but the value of Cobra is truly tremendous. How many new, production cars do we have that have almost 400HP for around $30K??? Correct me if I am wrong...but I think this is the 1st one.

Yes, the cobra is a very good value. It promises the same perforance as the z06 for $17000 less. They are both very nice cars.

Given the choice between the two I'd go with the vette. Fords history of poor workmanship is enough of a dissensentive for me not to purchase their cars. I think it will be a long time before they win me back as a customer.

I dont know about "Fords history of poor workmanship" My dad owns a 2000 Mustang Coupe( ya its not the V8:mad: ) but it still hauls ass for a 192hp car. We have never had one problem with this mustang or the other two we had 1996 and a 98. She runs like a champ. Maybe you have had some bad experience but as for us its been great. But im just 16 so what do i know. Just my .02$
