GM announced today a recall on '02-'04 TB's tail light assemblies. It's about time.

Definetively about time!

I live in Mexico and have had the exact same problems you guys have, with the added discomfort of the dealerships playing dumb 100% of the time unless you come up to them with some proof.

Proof served me right when my A/C started blowing warm air of an on.

Would you be kind enough to tell me the recall notice number and/or maybe get me a copy of the recall?? (since I live in Mexico, I do not have access to Mygmlink.com goodies)

I havn't heard the details yet. In the meantime...a friend of mine replaced his tail light bulbs with 14 volt versions and has not had a problem in over a year.

Hmm, 14V light bulbs... and do they have the same brightness ??
