:screwy: Been suddenly having problems with the heater alternately blowing hot and cool air evey 10-15 seconds. Doesn't matter if AIR button is lit or just running heat or vent. Blending door is slowing moving back and forth causing a sqweeking, creeking noise. Computer Climate Controlled. Is it a bad Temp. switch or in the computer or ??? Please check my other post 2 pages back for other problems and symptoms that MAY or could be related......ANY replys or HELP will be greatly appreciated. :grinyes: Thanks, Mike

Don' know but I've got a '98 and I'm interested in following your fix. My guess, considering your other problems, would be to look for bad electrical connections. I would find and clean all ground connections of any electrical harnesses. I would also pull the dash out and check for clean connections at the harness to gauge cluster and other controls. Also, look for a break in the foils of the gauge package circuit. Keep us posted and good luck. :2cents:

I just posted a new thread regarding a heating problem, but my problem is that it seems as though it is always the same amonut of hot air, and I can't shut it down or increase it. Watch for a possible answer to my thread

install a new rad cap and make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks associated with the door.
