Turbo Manifold

I want to ultimately turbo my 90 integra. However, I don't have enough money for the kit. I have a certified mechanic for a friend. Would it be wise to but the turbo kit piece by piece? For instance would a turbo manifold bolt on to a stock system without customizing? I just don't want to buy headers and then have to buy a turbo header when I get an intercooler, turbo, piping, blow-off valve and intake

You can build a kit piece by piece, but you have to know what you need and what will work together. I would recommend doing some more research before you buy anything.
