Hi,
I have a 99 BMW 528i with an extended warranty. My Dealer has had my car for 1 1/2 months out of the last 2 months. I got a new Trans all the recalls were done, crank case sensors valves, new neck of the gas tank etc.......... it is agreat thing having the warranty. Here is the dilema, I just got my car back and 2 days later the battery was drained. I had a friend test it and the Re Charging system and it is fine and the battery is charging- which means there is a drain somewere. I brought it back to the dealer and he says the 6 CD Changer is draing the battery and that is the problem. It worked fine before I gave it to him and now its not and he wants me to pay the $50 deductable. I think through taking the gas tank down and fiddeling in the trunck something happened. Some of you might think this is petty but they had my car and I had to pay the deductable 3 times before they got all the problems fixed in the last 1 1/2 months. I dont think I should have to pay again! Does anybody think Im wrong? and why?
Thank You,
Keith
