BELOW IS A PREVIOUS SUBMISSION THAT I HAVE STILL NOT BEEN ABLE TO SOLVE. HOWEVER, I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I DO NOT EXPERIENCE THE HESITATION WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD (JUST STARTED) AND THE HORSEPOWER SEEMS INCREASED AT SUCH TIMES. COULD THIS PROBLEM BE A COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR?
I've got a '94 Full Size Blazer with hesitation problems when I accellerate.
Replaced: Fuel Filter, Plugs, Distrib. cap, fuel pump, fuel sending unit, O2 Sensor, and the air filter with a K&N. Also, my plug wires look fine as does my fuel lines.
It seems only to choke/hesitate from a stopped position with heavy gas applied. My I am not too familiar with the TBI system, but am contemplating gettting the Throttle Body Spacer. I haven't checked the fuel pressure, but I'm assuming its OK considering all the new parts I have added.
Please give some helpful advice if you know any possible solutions to this problem

Have you checked all your vacuum line thoroughly...play close attention to where they actually connect and any place they could rub through..

Fixed it!
Turned out to be a loose distributor and 'retarded' timing. Timing gun and an elbow wrench and engine was snorting waiting to be driven!
Thanks all..

nice, timing seems to be a problem with all older OBDI engines.
Needs to be made a part of routine maintanence. Any 1995+ doesn't need to be timed.
Glad it worked out for you.
