Dies when I give it gas...?

HELP! I have an '89, It' been chugging when you give it gas for about 6 months and now it's gotten to the point that it won't run at all, when I give it ANY gas it dies. It's not the fuel filter, that has been changed, as have the plugs, the sensor and most of the fuel line. Any one have any ideas??

Does it start at all? If so does it idle normal? Also have you replaced the distributor cap, rotor button and spark plug wires?
Also does the check engine light come on while it idles?
