Brake lights won't work for 2002 TB

My third light works but the other two don't. I checked the fuses and the bulbs. Anybody know what else could be wrong?

Guess the actual plastic socket assembly is junk. These are being recalled by the factory for this. Major safety defect. Call a dealer, should be fixed at no charge from what I've read.

I just had the brake light problem repaired on my "02 at n/c. It shows on the service ticket that circuit boards were changed per service bulletin. I first saw the letter from Chevrolet on mygmlink.com. .
The letter dated June '04 states in bold that this is not a recall, but that '02 TB's with tail lights burning out will be repaired within 6 years or 72, 000 miles at no charge.
By the way, I have found the mygmlink. com link to be very helpful and informative.

GM has now issued a recall on these lights.
