codes 4 and 8

ok i just replaced my dizzy. and now i am getting code 4(crank angle sensor) code 8 (tdc) ok so for code 8 i believe i just got to play with the timing but how about code 4. what does the sensor do, and how can i fix it.

sounds to me like your distributor/wiring is fucked since both of those are located inside it.

yeah, both sensors are in the dizzy... was a new dizzy or a junkyard one? if its a junkyard one id get another....

its a rebuilt one. does it mean that the dizzy is no good. the car seams to be running fine..

the two wires on the ecu harness need to be switched around

dont go rewiring your ecu unless your really really sure you know what your doing... still sounds to me like its a bad dizzy

Did it die when it was just at an idle

the old one died. but the new one seams to run ok
