Primer?

I was wanting to primer my 1g, the paint looks pretty crappy and to say the truth i don't do much body work. So if anyone knows how to primer a car without having blotches or runs please help me out. Thanx. :)

Unless you know a friend or a shop that will do it for you cheap, you're looking at just finding a paint shop to do it. I'm afraid bodywork isn't something you can pick up. If you're willing to experiment on your own car, go for it... but if you don't know how to do something, you will probably end up paying someone else for it.
