Are you sure the problem is coming from the rear of the vehicle? Was it running when you checked the problem? If it is wobbling in the rear you may have a bad wheel bearing that is causing the vehicle to wobble, you may also have a tire going bad. What did the odor smell like? If you can provide a little more information someone may be able to give you some ideas to solve the problem.

I just had new tires put on less than a week and half ago.. I am sure it was in the rear.. It kinda smelled like plastic or something nasty like that. I had a tranny burn out before and it didn't have that odo,r but it just smelled bad... I am a girl here just trying to figure this out.. any help ideas will be grealy apreciated... My dad said maybe a bad wheel bearing too, but he lives 200 miles away and can't fix it..:-( And yes it was running when all of the above happened. But even in park it doesn't sound right. Not like a rod knock or anything, but the car itself doesn't sound like it did before all this happened...

If the engine is wobbling/shaking and exhaust pops when the engine is running while in park then it's something Ignition related.
What kind of engine you got? 4 Cylinder Quad?
If so, more than likely the problem is the Ignition Coil Housing which fails 99% of the time on Quad 4 engines.

No it's not my engine wobbling and shaking, It's in the rear of the car.. I have A v6 I thinks it's a 3.1 or 3.3 I Something lke that...Exhaust wasn't really popping but there was a sizzeling noise coming from the rear also...

I would agree that a rear hub bearing is the most likely cause. A bad rear wheel cylinder would smell bad and cause the brakes to pulsate when you apply them, but wouldn't make the wheel wobble unless the brakes were being applied.

Well, you said that this also happens when the engine is running but in Park.
The only thing that I can think off that would be probably moving is the exhaust pipe. If the hangers of the exhaust pipe is loose then it might shake the exhaust pipe. Clogged muffler or clogged catalytic converter might create enough back pressure and cause the whole exhaust pipe system to vibrate.
