I bought an '04 cavy with the non smokers package, so i went to walmart to buy the lighter itself. didnt work. so i bought the whole deal, the lighter, plus the housing together. still doesnt work.

the fuse is fine, but theres no power going to the lighter!! whats the deal?????

well if its the "non smokers" package maybe the lighters there for decoration :lol:

Try to determine if electric exists in the lighter...on the inside of the
place where the lighter goes...then work your way back to the fuse to determine if you have good wiring! Good Luck..Ed

Why smoke in a car in the first place?

i figured it out...the socket is only a power source for cell phone chargers, crap like that. i went to walmart to buy both the lighter housing and lighter, hooked it up, and works fine.

Run a standard power to it
