exhaust manifold removal

am replacing the head gasket, would like to know how
to remove the shield over the exhaust manifold on
an 88 b2200. Can't see how to remove the
manifold mounting nuts without removing the shield,
but it doesn't seem to move. have removed a couple
of bolts that seem to attach the shield to the
manifold.

found it. needed to remove the bolt holding the
bracket that the oxygen sensor wire goes thru
(towards the rear of the shield).
that, and 2 or 3 other short bolts holding the
shield to the exhaust manifold, and it slid off.
