WRX Chevelle

Hey All:
I'm new to this site and to a great extent muscle cars in general. I currently run a 2004 WRX (she's pretty quick....low 13s actually) but am thinking of adding a good ol American brute to my "collection" as well.
Came across a pretty nice 1970 Chevelle I'm thinking of buying. She has about 40,000 original miles on it, original 350 that has been mapped and balanced, ported out 305 heads, some sort of performance cam and intake but I am not sure exactly what kind, a 12 bolt rear end (Olds 455??), fuel cell installed, and some other minor goodies.
Asking price is $5000
So, what I'm hoping to get from you guys is some advice and general info and such about this car, owning a Chevelle in general and maybe even some pointers to get me going in the right direction toward fixing her up and getting her even faster :)
My ultimate goal is to have a street legal classic car that will run in the 12s up here in Colorado.
Thanks everyone!
Josh

Sounds pretty good if the body is straight and a nice blanket of paint on it. It will be a lot different than your WRX as far as working on it, but if you have the ambition and money to work on it, go for it.
