wiper arm needs adjustment

92 Corsica with 4 cylinder engine
How do I adjust the wiper arms to NOT move too far to the left on their swing? When turned off, they also do not go back into the rest position as they used to. I'm stumped.

shut the wipers off, take the wiper arms off, and reposition them flat at the bottom. that should also set them correctly at the top.

Thanks for the help. I apologize for the long time it took to thank you. Was afraid to trust my skills in following directions. I had to wait until today to get it done because of some other problems.
