center /armrest compartment removal

does anyone out there know how to remove the armrest area in the center of the car, my girl's promise ring fell down the ebreak leaver i think, and i don't know how to remove the center piece.

or if anyone can give me a web site where i can find out that would be kewl too, it's a 2003 civic ex
