Ok i did the search here and at nissanforums.com there is no real GOOD info on the b14 sr20det swap, can I get any help on this here?
Any recomended sites on this perticular sr swao?
Also would just be better to trubo the ka from the 240sx and drop that in or would that not even work?
I also plan on getting that greddy profec boost controller any thoughts on that?

I wasn't asking how many different cars you had, I meant what specific car are you planning on using for this swap? You mentioned a b14, but which model? That makes a big difference in how much you need to do to swap an sr20det.
And no you can't swap in a ka24, it's set up for rwd and the sentras are fwd, it won't work without a LOT of custom modification and money. A good place for info is www.sr20forum.com

an se-r would be the easiest, the tranny and mounts bolt right up to the sr20det. Of course if you have the se-r, it already comes with the sr20de, so all you have to do is turbo it and you have the same thing, minus the oil squirters and a few other goodies that come on the det

^^^ Listen to him. Get a 200sx se-r and either do the swap or turbo the motor that comes with it. But remember, boost is addicting!

Now is the se-r also in the sentra four door version also on the b14 or would i have to get a 200sx?
is there any kits for turboing the sr20de? Or would you just do the swap?
What "other goodies" are there if I might ask.
Also in terms of boost controllers what do you think of the greddy profec?
Thanks for your help on this so far I havn't been answered over at the site you gave me though, they'll come around.

what do you mean "boost is addicting". and um what exactly is your point here?
i'm not looking to have an ungodly fast car out of this that the 240z for me.
I will be droping a 68 olds 455 in it with 1500 bucks I will be having 450hp and 540torque at crank so yeah that is the real toy.
---------
Oh and if you are intereseted.
The Olds 307/350/403/425/455 all bolt up to the same motor mounts. The blocks are basically the same only the larger ones have a slightly taller deck height, and therefore are also slightly wider at the top of the "V".
In other words, you can take a car with an Olds 307 and bolt in an Olds 455. Also, any engine swap that uses 73-87 Chevy truck motor mounts can be swapped over to an Olds BB simply by using motor mounts from a 73-87 Chevy Truck with the optional Olds diesel engine.
Use these with the JTR kit 200bucks and drop her in.
Pretty easy swap for getting 20MPG in a car that should (according to the power to weught ratio should pull lmid to low 11s.

I'm not sure which of them are 4dr, a few google searches for pictures would answer that though. I think there might be some kits, I know Hotshot has one for the 1.6, but I've never researched turbo kits for the b14 since I don't own one, so I don't know all that much.
As for the de vs det, the det has oil squirters below the pistons to keep the temperature down, lower compression, and I believe it has better gaskets and a slightly stronger build that lets it run more boost. There are threads with details on all the differences over at sr20forum, I haven't read one in a while though so I don't remember specifically.

Thanks I'll google it.
Also I think I'll just bring over a det.
What other things will i need other than the motor and the ecu. Do you know?

What i mean by "boost is addicting" is once you go turbo you just want to boost more and more. lol. Alright if you want a 4 door B14 then get yourself a Nissan Sentra SE-L (4 door with the sr20de). You can do the BB swap then sell your old motor to get some money back. There are turbo kits for the sr20's but i would do a DET swap.
As far the ECU goes, i would get Emanage. Its a great program that lets you tune it yourself. Also, once you get the det, you should look into a walbro fuel pump.
