Just a thought... Next time you go to start your car, turn the key on and let it sit for 15 - 20 seconds to insure your fuel line psi is all the way up. If that does the trick then you will have a place to start

So I don't have to start a new thread, My car wouldn't even turn over for about 4 tries, then it started right up. I heard a little clicking sound but the car wouldn't even turn over. Everything is stock, and it only has done this once so far, but I would like to take care of it before it becomes a bigger problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Just in case, it's a 1991 240SX SE.

OH SH*!!! Hopefully it doesn't turn into the Fk'n nightmare mine has!!!

Okay, first time it was corroded connections on all positive terminals (from a bad battery)

Start by cleaning all of your terminals especially the ones on the starter. After that I went a good 6 months without the problem re-occuring.

Currently I'm having a nightmare with previous owners accessory wiring.
Right now I'm going through this crazy stuff where I have to wiggle the wire bundle leading into my relay/fuse box. I'm super busy right now so I don't have the time or the patience to take all the wire apart and rewire/clean her up. Just a heads up for yeah.

Thanks ProbeKiller, I guess I'll get to work cleaning terminals, and checking wires. I have a little spare time, so better to catch it early. Thanks.

I just had this problem On my KA-T. It turned out to be a bad coil. Way to check your coil:
1)Take the coil wire off the distributor.
2)Set it close to a ground point(any piece of metal connected to the body).
3)Try to start the car and watch for the wire to arc onto the ground point.
4)If it doesn't, you have a bad coil or bad wiring.
I'm not sure about the SR guys. Sorry.

Yo, S13, let me know if cleaning the terminals up works for yeah, especially the ones on the starter.

Battery maybe. Check the terminals for corrosion. If there is corrosion use sandpaper and clean them. You many need a new battery. Try putting a charger on the battery and see if that works.
