2002 tahoe, replaced fuel pump at the dealership at 40000 and now at 57000 miles the pump seems to be going bad again. dearship states that all tahoes, subourbons, trucks using this fuel pump are having problems and that GM does not want to have a recall. Does anybody have a permanent fix?

Ive Replaced 5 Fuel Pumps On 3 Tahoes 02-04's,dealer Said Gm Revised It With A Longer Sock On The Bottom.i Think Gm Could Care Less Because They Sell To Many Of Them To Recall.
