gst motor

i have a 1997 gst and i need a complate new motor and i need a place where i can buy one from ive been looking all over but no luck i want an engine in the price range of about 1600 to 2000 anyone can help thatd be great

do you want a new 7 bolt (what you have now) or a 6 bolt from the 90-92 (stronger motor with less chance of crankwalk but it needs some custom work to install)

check dsmtrader.com and ebay has engine sometimes too. itll be a little hard since you probably want one local instead of paying to ship it

You would save a lot of money if you just went to a junk yard and bought an engine. (I don't know about where you're from, but around here I get them for $100), then rebuild it, have some machine work done and have less than $500 in it. (And I'm talking a 6 bolt)
