I have a few questions that I need to ask first how hard is it to install a autometer boost gauge and a air/fuel ratio gauge? What does it mean when my gas sticks? How can I get rid of the engine check light and oil lamp light that are on from my jdm swap?Is it possible to replace a gear a transmission because my second gear has a grid in it?Thanks

1. If you are able to wire up a "hot" and a "ground" wire the installs are simple.

2. I would suspect your throttle plate is sticking OR your cable is hung up somewhere.

3. I'm not sure if there are common warning light issues with swaps, but there are 2 oil lights, one is for pressure and one is for level. You may have a bad sensor.

For the check engine light, I would just check the diagnostics and see what codes it's storing. Are you using the JDM ECU?

4. If your 2nd gear is grinding, chances are it is your sychros ... not the actual gear. Synchros are cheap, but the labor is killer.

The oil light with the waves (probably the yellow light, not the red one) is oil LEVEL. You may just have a bad oil level sensor.

Syncros are parts in the tranny that syncronize the engagements of the gears ... basically makes for faster, smoother shifts. When they go bad you start grinding gears.

Waht do you mean when you say the "Gas sticks"

the gas will stay down for a couple of seconds after I take my foot off it.

You should check your throttle cable and see if you have dirt on it or its getting stuck during opening, you never know with old cars.
