Well since Im hopefully going to LightningFest2005 and I have a stock truck, I am thinking of getting some nitrous for the beast. I was wondering what company you guys prefer and whether I should get a wet or dry system(would like a 50hp-100hp system if posible).

well it all depends, wet kits are prolly the easiest to use. It automatically adjusts the fuel/air ratio and puts the proper amount in. So you dont have to worry as much about running really lean. The best type to get is a direct port system. This system use nozzles on all the intake ports to shoot an even amount of N02 into each cylinder. Their is almost no change of backfire with this. A dry system is best used if you can manually program your ECU and have a better fuel delivery system. This just shots N02 into the intake tube. And if you dont add enough fuel to get a good mixture of air/fuel you can run extremly lean, which is a bad thing. If i were you id go with a wet direct port injection system.

the easiest to install is the dry system because you dont have to hook up the fuel line. i'd go wet because you have less chance of murdering your engine. in terms of companies, NOS has been around the longest but you could check out the competitors like zex, venom performance, etc for better prices

$30-$45 for a 10 lb bottle depending on how much competition there is where you live
