great race story! but lost to a freakin' integra!!!

sorry guys...
was just driving around tonight and at the light saw an integra that wanted some. i have been away from racing for a while and didn't feel like losing my new car two weeks after i got it. i didn't take off too hard off the line cause we were both making left turns. i was in front a bit and couldn't see him cause he was in my blind spot...then i heard his tires squeal as he gunned it around the turn. i floored it and took off. up to five grand, shift to second. up to five grand again, shift to third. by this point i had him whipped by a good car length+, then...then...as i was gonna spank it home i missed fourth gear! d@m it! i felt like a 16 year old school girl learning how to drive stick. i couldn't get the d@m thing in gear! til i found fourth and got back in the mivec range, he was in his top end and pulling by me. he was almost a car length ahead and i was just about to shift to fifth when he cut the power. i zoomed by and wondered...hmmm...why did he give up so fast? i wasn't done yet
then i saw a set of lights come up on his rear pretty quickly as he slowed down to 55mph (speed limit). i knew what it was...he knew what it was. i kept it up to 65 and just as i crested the hill, my turn came up. ducked around the corner, then onto my road. didn't see anything behind me except the reflection of red and blue on the trees. pulled into my parking lot, patted my ralliart on the butt, and went inside. fwew.
will do better next time i promise. just have to not miss the freakin' gear! btw...i have a stock ralliart and he had probably cai, springs, and def exhaust. driver error... :disappoin
