Okay I bought a 88 GTA trans am, I know that the sticker with all the options the car has is gone it was in the inside of the console, sticker residue is still on there. I was wondering if i could go to a dealer and have them order me a new one alone with the one that is on the inside of the door.? is it possible or am i SOL? help!!

on third gen camaros the codes are in the back. open up the hatch and look to the left, you will see a key hole, open the compartment and look inside it. if t/a's are the same as camaros then it is there... if not, you could ask the dealer if they can print that for you, you give them your VIN and stuff, but i've never heard of them doing anything like that...

my camaro rpo sticker is in the center console.

there is a website that does packaged for trans ams i think. if not I KNOW gm will send you out what they call a restoration package I believe and its has lots of info about the car, including all the options it was bought with.

If you want to search thirdgen.org there is a post called official restoration package or something similar to that with the contact info.

its a tricky thing, because GM didnt keep alot of records on that stuff. however, if you go to the GM dealership they can print out the SPID codes from your vin number with all your options. however i dont know if they can actually make you a new sticker for restoration purposes. but they can tell you the option codes.
