1997 Olds Silhouette (Won't Start)

I'm kinda confused. Sometimes it starts and then again sometimes it won't. I noticed if I turn on the headlights it will start. The headlights don't dim or go out when it starts. The battery is a few years old. We have roughly 104,000 miles on the vehicle. I've had similar problems with a Nissan Truck before but it has been what they call a inhibitor relay. You replace the relay and everything is great. So I wasn't sure if this vehicle has a possible relay problem? Our keys don't have the security feature on them so I don't think that's problem. Please help I hate to take it to the dealer. Thanks in advance.

Fromn what you are describing, sounds like the starter is starting to go. In my opinion, I would remove the starter and have it tested.
