8 valve???

I'm looking into buying a 90-92 eclipse, and ive got a lead for one, however im not sure whether its the 16 valve or the 8 valve, i have a feeling its the 8, and so can anyone inform me of the aftermarket for the 8 valve and if its any good what can i expect?

the 8 valve is the 1.8 motor do a search for it here and on dsmtuners.com one benefit is that its a non interference motr so you dont have to worry about bending valves is you throw the timing belt. a guy on dsmtuners has a 1.8 with a t3/t4 hybrid turbo
