hey fellas, what is the best way to get a stang real, real close to the ground?{3-4inchdrop} coilovers{i have to deal with the snow} seem to be the best option, any thoughts, fav. brands. how low can i drop it with them thanks abuch.

3-4inches is not dropping that slamming it! Anyway I think it is a horrible thing to do to your car and I'm not talking about the look. You drop a car 3-4 inches and you have totally destroyed all the suspension geometry.

But if I was gonna do it I would bag it, no way I'd try to get that kinda drop with springs.

yeah droping it 3 or 4 inches a mustang noo in my book but like gtstang said if u have to use airride or something of that sort. i know airride is a good company.

what sbout 3 inthe front 2 or 2.5 in the back is that to low? i dont no alot about suspension so youll have to bare with me here. if it will look like an import tunner POS tell me, i want the old street rod ,sleek,low, and shiny look to my car. any htouhgts

Once you drop the Stang 2" or more your gonna run into suspension geometry problems. they can be fixed but just remember the added cost besides just the parts to drop it. There is a company that make drop spindles for a Mustang, I think 2", that will keep correct suspension geometry upfront. The you could use drop springs in the back but your gonna need upper adjustables to correct pinion angle.

there u go. i would personally drop her 1 1/4 inch thats what i am gonna do when i get enough money for steeda springs. mrt also makes a awsome suspension kit for i think 560 or so with 5 way adjustable shocks and springs mm&ff seemed to love it when they tested it.

How many inches is typical for lowering? I have a 01' V6 with 18" rims (225 40 18 tires all around). How much is it for parts and labor?
