97 Jeep speaker wiring

Hello,
I own a 97 jeep, a very basic model. The car only has 2 speakers in the front 2 doors. I am currently trying to expand the system to 4 speakers. I was wondering if there is already wiring for 2 MORE speakers somewhere inside the car??? If not, any advice of what i should do to put in 2 new speakers??? Thanks very much for all of your help!

check under the panel for the back gate, you could already have wires in place. you should......

mine too did(and does) not have rear speakers. i tore the car apart, from the stereo all the way back to the hatch. i found no wires... they managed to lose me in the part of the dash that doesnt come out. i just left them out and filled the back with subs. you can also cut holes in the panels of the back doors.....the holes for the speaker and the screws are already cut in the metal. running your own wires from the back of the deck to the speakers isnt that hard just hide them under the various panels along the way.
