My friend has a 89 Astro CL, prob AC bearings

He's thinking (friend) that if he removes the AC but puts the wheel back on that he'll have no more noise and problems.I think he should just change the size of the belt and bypass it. I'm handy in doing this job but not shore it will work. It seams to me that most of the noise is coming from the berings at the AC.
