Here is another version of the Hasegawa Miura / Jota kit. Hopefully you all aren't sick of them yet?
All of the Miura's and Jota's being built by several of us recently, that are in the ACME model club, are being built for a group display at the Southern NNL later this month. We're not just copying each others ideas. There is reason to our madness....
This is Tamiya Light Gunmetal over a silver base with Tamiya clear. The interior is two tone Burgundy and black. The wheel centers are painted to match the car color and the molded in mesh was removed from the rear fenders and replaced with Tamiya mesh. Also, the front spoiler was modified so it wouldn't wrap around the front fender. I like the look of the shorter spoiler for this particular color scheme.

It looks good wingless, and the shorter front spoiler looks very nice..
Fantastic job. It compliments your Miura quite nicely.

You've got a beautiful paint job--the gunmetal is very smooth. I love it!

That is awesome. The colour scheme is great and that wing on the front looks like its just the right size.
Oh yeah, how the hell could anyone get tired of any Lambo?

There isn't much other stuff to say about your jota, or all the other fabulous miura's that have haunted these boards, then that they are absolutely true-to-life...
really, this is one hell of a model, and I wouldn't expect anybody else to do an even better job of it... perfection achieved.
