Good Day Today

I was driving on the interstate today in Nashville (after not being able to get a absentee ballot) and saw 2 more SLs. One was a 1st gen white and the other was a 2nd gen green, and mine is a 2nd gen white. I was giddy, like a kid in a candy store. We rode together for 5 miles,til the 1st gen got off at his exit. Then me and the other punched it until we got off at our exit. I talked to him out the window and he has the VR4 rims and some Yokohamas(I think). He said he has a 3.5JDM engine in his. But it felt good, everyone we passed were looking, like "what the hell are those, I think they might be Ferraris". That's the first time I've not been the only 3000 on the road. Today must be a good day. I still haven't seen a VR4 though, saw a SL sypder, but not the coveted and elusive VR4.

the JDM 6G72 is also a 3.0, ive heard of people boaring out to 3.2 but 3.5???? ohh well.

i saw a blue 1st gen vr4 on the hwy i challenged him but he didnt budge. he would of killed me since i have a base 96 gt but it would of been fun. i have only seen 2 vr4's in my area a mint cherry red one which i soiled myself when i saw it and the blue one last week.

the montero came with a 3.5L engine in the US, but not sure about the JDM spec, probably the same.
