Ok this morning it was 32 degrees and my car battery would not turn over. So i am tired of it i am going to buy a new battery today at sears. Any suggestions on a good battery for our cars for winter and summer?

I posted teh same question last year...do a search , I probably titled the thread "new battery" or something like that. Optima redtops are really good, but you could just go with $45 sears diehard. If you have any plans on putting a front tower strut bar in in the future...I suggest you look into a smaller battery now..rather than later.

They connect the tops of your two struts to add frame rigidity and reduce body roll...ultimately improving handling a bit...they go directly over the stock battery, and many have clearance issues with the size of the stock battery.

You don't have to get a strut bar.
He was just saying that if you ever plan on gettin one it might be a good idea to look at a smaller battery.

Are strut bars realy worth the money? Seems like the car would come with one if they were that good since it's just a piece of metal slapped on over the engine bay.

Most people just use them for a dressup; it all depends, do you think its worth it?

Well I got mine on ebay, one was 50, other 75, and they are the Cusco ones that 3sx is selling for $150 each. I think they help...sway bars are better, but I wouldn't call the strut bars worthless.

What's the difference between strut bars and sway bars? I hear they do help though....like a friend of mine said he put some in his civic and took it through a winding road at 65-70 or something. But his car was also dropped so I don't know which one helps more....

Go to www.stealth316.com
click on 'technical'
scroll down to the 'suspension' section, and read some of the articles...they have some on sway bars and strut bars...I suggest reading all to get a better overall understanding.
