I have a 2005 rendezvous cxl fwd with the 3.6L V6...I have had problems from day one and I have only had it a month. First of all my gas gauge will only work when it wants to. They told me there was nothing they could do untill gm caome out with a fix for it. Also I cant get heat to come out of my vents only from the floor or defrost the dealer told me that was normal but I think it is the stupest design ever. Also I have had power relay problems my car had to be tow because the transmision would not shit. WHen I tryed to go it was like the car was trying to start off in 4th gear I had to keep it floored to getout of traffic's way at about 20 mph max. I am now trying to get rid of the car under lemon law 2005 rendezvous SUCK.

i'm not a big fan of buying any car at the beginning of the production years. because:
1. even with all the testing R&D does, it is nothing until the customers put the car on the road and get some real wear on it that problems occur.
2. i've noticed there are quite a few TSBs and recalls on early production year cars from assembly line errors.
3. even the dealership doesn't have service parts in stock yet.
i don't like the auto-HVAC ether, i like my saturn where i have full control of temp, fan speed, and vent location. i really am not a big fan of auto anything, i like having exact control of systems. unfortunitly, the way car manufactors are moving, i don't think i will ever like and future car as much as i like my '94.
