The passanger side power window regulator is gone in my VR4. The window won't move up or down now. Does anyone know for sure if buying a whole new window motor includes the regulator (small, round white piece of plastic)? I'm pretty sure it does, but need to know for sure.

yeah chief, they come together. my dealer quoted me like $180 for the whole assembly, I got it a a junk yard for $40 though and now it looks like I have to replace mine again! btw, if you get a new motor and regulator I'll buy the old one off you. the problem with mine is that the plastic clamp that wraps around the guide tower is broken so the window swings back and forth. if you get a new one contact me, I can scavenge off the pieces I need from a regulator in good shape.

I'm trying to bid on the motor, but it's up past $60 with 3 days left. How high should I go for a used one?

I wouldnt go more than $50. these motors break easy so if its used it shouldnt be going for 60!

Lemme give you a tip for bidding on ebay...don't place any bids, until the last 2 mins of the auction...
If you bid prior to that, then whoever else is interested comes back and bids...and this just drives up the price. Wait until the last 2 mins...that way a bidding war doesn't erupt, and you can just come in a win it at the last second.

I have the same problem. has anyone looked into or bought the ones listed as "Professionally rebuilt and reinforced by Window Regulators USA." on ebay by mirrorguard? Does the metal over that plastic pully really do anything?

yeah actually it does help cause my last one broke right there at the pulley so metal is a good re-enforcement. but I wouldnt pay 185 bucks for it, just go to home depot and get some thick sheet metal.
