Hello all
I have an 86 lincoln cont that has the electronic guage cluster.....the car sat for about a year and when i put the charge on it let it sit for a few hours then switched to boost and tried to jump start it my gauge cluster went out.....i replaced the battery and the car fired right up runs like a top....smogged excellenty BUT i have no gauges.....i looked at the fuses (only found 1 blown one) but still no gauges that means no fuel gauge and after running out of gas and the ensuing 4 mile hike in the snow its time to get serious on finding out WTF is going on
Thanks

I seem to recall those Tokyo-By-Night LED displays do not work well at all in cold weather.
If you are walking around in the snow, maybe let the car and interior warm up thoroughly before condemning it.
If its still bad, look at the negative (ground) circult for the entire display. It may be bad, corroded or dirty.
