ok.. bringin this up cuz i read the whole flame thread about that noob probe owner with the blown probed ass and i saw the section on the rotary... the dabbling ford did on the rotary was bs... they baught the rights so that no one could use it... basically u look at those hybrid cars and the projected mpg on those things was 70 mpg's turns out they only do about 35 to 40 when my stepmoms 95 civic was doing 34 mpg's 3 years afta we got it! i live in miami! wat im saying is that ford is american... and they could be making more fuel efficent cars, but instead they choose to surpress the technology and further add to the petroleum crisis. now i know the japs arent tryin to save to world... but goddam there cars last forever and the do much better on fuel economy then my dads 4.6 mustang gt 00' or my neighbors 2 5.0's. The wankel engine is fucking genious... only thing is not enuf people know enuf about em, if u dont know how the engine works google that shiznit and ull b amazed.. so wat was i getting at?? i forgot but if u see nething interesting do respond..
4.6 liter v8 mustang produces 260hp and 308 torque stock (this thing really dips nasty, i mean the torque is sick, every turn in second is a dangerous one as punching it to hard on the exit will make u lose grip completely)... we got an electric green one in 00' - my dad babies that shit... still has 13k miles... all he did was a k and n air filter and borla exhaust, steeda shocks and springs dropped 2 1/2 inches and i moved the battery from the front to the back for like a 75 lb weight change, dont ask me how its that much but it is.. and says thats enuf for him... wait till i do the s14 engine swap dad... he funna h8 me

and u got a whole lot of posts... still trying to decide if u flaming me tho, im being serious.. everything that occurs happens for some reason someone decided on, who's to say someone didnt tell someone at ford to get the wankel motor, put it away and sell gas guzzling cars so the first someone could get loaded and get the second someone a big chunk for their services?

Well, if I recall correctly, 27 or so companies all own the rights to the Wankel engine, but Mazda was the only one who saw any potential in it, the others didn't want to pour money into a concept they wasn't sure would sell very well. American society loves big cars with big engines...just the way it is.
What's my postcount go to do with anything? :)

Like I said before, most wont bother because the gas mileage is absolutely horrendous. Lot of work just to make a new engine type work for the public.

God Why Must People Be Stupid?
In The Early To Mid 70's Chevrolet Built A Rotary Powered Corvette And Nova.... The Corvette Had Over 400hp While The Nova Was Sub 300's. The Reason This Never Made It Into Production Levels Was Because The Rotary Has Always Been A Problem For Emissions.
Ford At The Same Time Was Building A Rotary Mustang, Along With A Few Other German Companies. Mazda Purchased The License And A Few Developmental Projects From Other Companies And Created There Own Product Which Has Been Extremely Successful.

Yeah I did see something on alternative fuel vehicles where they said GM and Ford had gotten the rights to most of the basic fomulas on alternative fuel, and then shelved them. They said GMs' main focus was to keep volvo out of the loop cuz vovlo is good at experimenting with stuff like this. Conspiracy TOTALY, but given the option, I'lll still go for the Gas guzzlers, more power, faster take off and shit.

Give me a big car.
Sorry, we don't have big cars.
Why not?
Because Americans don't like big cars.
Ok, then, give me one with lot's of pep.
Our cars don't have "pep".
Why not?

Homer, tell the nice man what country you come from.
America!
You see you morons?! Thise is why were getting killed in the market, we're not selling them what they want, we're tleling them what they want!

see i wasnt crazy... ford did put some technology in the back room... whew, i knew i read that somewhere. im not saying "big car" bad, im saying the market should reflect the needs of all people. not the needs that the elitests decide the lower classes should have so that their green pockets get greener. if this were true id have a 240sx to drive recreationally and a american XXX with 90 mpg for everyday work... imagine how much extra money id have to invest in my 240, assuming that my lil utopia eliminates insurance fraud and i can get coverage for both cars at low prices... ahh this world is so fucked.
