? for musicians (headphones)

I know there's a music forum, but I figured I'd ask here because I trust an answer from people here more than others of the site.
My band is going to record a low quality demo soon, using a mixer hooked up to a computer. The only way we can do it is by hooking everything up without it being hooked up to speakers. So while we're playing/recording the only way to actually hear the guitars, bass, and vocals is for all of us to use headphones hooked to the mixer (1/4" plug). So I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any specific company or specific model. The main thing is that I play drums, and play really freaking loud (I'm a hard hitter) so I'm going to need something that I'm going to be able to hear from over my drums. I'm looking to spend under $100 (preferably closer to half that).
I'll level this up for a week or so to see if I get any responses and then I'll post it over at the music forum if I don't. I'll keep looking on musician's friend and american musical supply as well for ideas.
*Mods-if you don't want this post here, I'd rather you just close or delete it than move it, I can just re-write it in the right place. thank you*

But I still won't be able to hear my bandmates playing unless I have the headphones. The only outputs they're going to have are to the computer and to headphones, they can't hook output to speakers for some reason. I really don't know why they can't hook speakers up, it's just what I was told by the guitarist setting it all up.

I used to be big into recording. I will tell you this... your guitars will most likely sound very bad unless you mic a guitar amp. running a guitar directly into a sound board/computer/4track/etc. without mic'ing a cabinet makes the guitar sound very lifeless.
But yes, of course, all you can use is headphones or else all the instruments would be picking up alot of feedback from the micing of them. Ironically, i am also a drummer. I will tell you this.. while recording, you do not play the same as if you are performing live. tone down your playing. you dont need to beat the hell out of the drums. You want them to make a nice warm tone, not a nice loud tone like if you were playing live.
For a low quality demo like im guessing you're talking about (low budget, quick, get er' dun type of deal) pretty much any headphone which will cover your entire ear will work. You should look into spending $50-$100 for a cheap set that will work.
I would suggest getting a headphone amp so that you can plug multiple sets of headphones in without overloading the amp circuit of a computer soundcard by dropping the impedence of the speakers by hooking up more than one set of headphones.
Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the feedback man. We recorded 2 "demos" before, one with the band now and one with me and 2 others in the band with some other people. The first one we did was in a garage with the mics hooked up to the amps and my drums ended up being on every track of the recording. And the seconds one, which was a lot better, was recorded by the guitarists bro. Unforunately he's an a-hole and added a ton of weird effects, deleted my drums, added his own guitar, etc. And Worst of all he refused to give us a copy of the original recording, so we have to do it all over again. I found some I think I'm going to get: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=perc/src=01360/search/detail/base_pid/443954/
Sure they'll probably do the job well. I saw the amplifiers too, and honestly I have no clue how he's setting this whole thing up; whether the headphones are connected to the soundcard or the mixer board. I'll be talking to him today and I'll ask him exactly what the deal is. Thanks again for the help, I appreciate it.
