hey i'm new here and this looked like the place to find an answer for my 1991 jeep chereokee laredo. i read the haynes manual and followed the electrical drawings and it said there's a fuse for the brake/hazard lights, but i checked every fuse and they were all good. the blinkers work fine and so do the parking lights, so ik it's not the wires going back to the lights, i replaced the blinker for the hazards and that did nothing, and i checked and i have power at the fuse box where the hazard blinker goes, i'm lost can someone help me out? thanks

First, aren't the brake and hazards seperate on this model. To look at the brake light first, Follow your brake pedal till you find a switch with a plunger on it. This will be your brake switch, check for power there first. If no power, check wiring back to our fuse box, and power to that particular fuse. Haynes is ok, but look for a Chiltons when it comes to wiring schematics. Hazards, did you swap out relays with you regular turn signals? Could have a falty hazard switch, which "could" play into why your brake lights aren't working.
